The links below are collections of documents from my McGill field experiences. These include self-evaluations of my mastery of the twelve teaching competencies and action plans for further professional development.

Professional Competencies

The following is a selected list of documents–McGill assignments, teaching resources, personal reflections and student work–that demonstrates my progress in meeting the 12 professional teacher competencies outlined by the Ministry of Education (MELS) in Quebec. For more examples for each competency, each competency header links to a broader list.

Competency 1 To act as professional inheritor, critic and interpreter of knowledge or culture when teaching students.

Competency 4 To pilot teaching/learning situations that are appropriate to the students concerned and the subject content with a view to developing the competencies targeted in the programs of study.

• Flipped Classroom Lesson	A learning situation I developed, piloted and reflected on for a McGill class, testing out a flipped classroom.
