My first McGill field experience took place at James Lyng High School near my place in St. Henri. It was a memorable experience for many reasons, most so since it was my first exposure to education in poverty. I have learned a lot which I will explore in other posts; here I will share the McGill assignments for my professional Seminar.
|School Culture & Community||A reflection on the culture and community of James Lyng from my perspective as an adult observer/student teacher.|
|Teacher Identity||A discussion of my initial conceptions of my “teacher identity”.|
|Teaching Philosophy||My first philosophy of teaching, which I will revise each Field Experience.|
|Competency Self-Evals||My self-evaluation of my mastery of five of the twelve professional teaching competencies.|
|Action Plan||My professional development action plan.|
