IDEA media camp debate curriculum

I was asked by the International Debate Education Association (IDEA) to refine their debate curriculum for the media and debate camps which are held each year worldwide. I was more than happy to do so.

While I based my curriculum off existing material, I revamped it considerably. I cannot make the entire curriculum open-source, so to speak, but I can share the curriculum overview .

The curriculum is intended to be taught in sixteen two-hour lessons (100 minutes instructional time + 20 min break) over two weeks. It can be taught out-of-the-box as it includes suggested activities for each lesson, but it also incorporates quite a bit of flexibility for debate trainers. It culminates in a fun mini-tournament.
